CULTIVATING LAW ABIDING CITIZENS!

The child can be trained before he develops into adulthood to avoid antisocial and criminal behavior. A child is originally to be brought up through basic communal institutions i.e. school, family and religious institutions. But as life will have it, this is not always the case, especially as families can`t always be in same place, at the same time .To train up a child takes commitment and its currency is time. School, work, religion or even fun, also requires time and at different places we can’t always be our children’s guide and this is where we at ISAM are relevant to you in the society. ISAM had Inception Aug 2013 with the objects from her Memorandum of Association under the Federal Republic Of Nigeria companies and allied matters act, 1990 as follows:

  • To create awareness and enlightenment among the youth on the dangers of prevalent social vices including but not limited to stealing, robbery, prostitution, gangsters, cyber-crime, audio/video indulgence, juvenile delinquency, laziness, alcoholism, addictions, etc.
  • To organize campaigns and programs aimed at discouraging the youths principally student of secondary and tertiary institutions from vices such as examination malpractice, vandalism, fraud, rebellion, street fighting.
  • To create avenues and opportunities for the rehabilitation of young persons who have or are indulging in the social vices named above by working with relevant public agencies and international organizations.
  • To liaise with relevant local and international organizations in organizing programs aimed at developing leadership and organizational skills among the youth.
  • To organize workshops and symposia for the purpose of inculcating a high sense of patriotism among the youth.
  • To liaise and relate with organizations who share similar objectives as highlighted above in achieving the objects of the company.
  • To do all such other things as may be considered to be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them.

In Operations, ISAM impacts and activities revolve around the FIVE following MISSION capsules:

  • Coaching (training and development) on school governance and community development.
  • Modeling Citizen Culture as a tool for Peace building.
  • Advocating Family protection through mentoring.
  • Empowering school administration and management.
  • Advocating professionalism for child development.
